University Planning Office

The University Planning Office (UPO) provides a University-wide perspective and essential planning services to guide the planning and design of the physical resources that support teaching and research. UPO’s service units include:

• Planning Services, which provides strategic and technical expertise on physical planning and public approvals;


• Design Services, which advocates for campus and building design excellence;


• Capital Planning, which analyzes policies and processes and their impact on the cost, timing and risk of proposed capital projects; and


• Planning Resources, which provides demographic, geographic, asset information and graphic design services to support project planning, design and construction.
